BackgroundLanding Zone Enterprise is a U.S and Tanzania -based organization dedicated to bridging communities of both developed and developing nations to create sustainable relationships through cultural exchange, youth development, and the game of football.
In November 2005, LZ Enterprise produced the Tanzania Soccer Summit. This international sports event hosted the opening ceremony for the newly renovated National Stadium in Dar es Salaam, Tanzania. The Soccer Summit encompassed historic international friendly matches with Seattle Sounders (U.S. Soccer Team), youth development clinics, sports seminar, and safari to Ngorongoro Crater with U.S. Team and U.S. Film Crew. We have since completed a film documentary, with the Tanzania Tourist Board, integrating Soccer Summit footage into a film piece for Tanzania’s cultural tourism as it highlights cultural exchange opportunities shared between the U.S. and Tanzania.
LZ Enterprise has developed working relationships throughout the international sports community with our most recent years focusing on African sports initiatives. Our experience and research has allowed us to identify areas of need, as well as the educational benefits brought to underserved communities through sports programming.
